Saturday Wordpress 2.5 was released after a long awaited arrival and a few delays. I’m glad to finally see this version released. I have not updated any of my blogs yet to really test it out, but I think I will in a few days. I would just like to make sure that it works properly with all of my plugins and see what other problems might come about before I update so I know what problems I might face so I can clear them out before anything goes live. I would definitely suggest using the Wordpress Automatic Updater if you are updating just in-case there is a problem. This plugin will allow you to create a back-up of your existing installation and revert back if you find any problems you may have to work out.
I do have to say the new features and interface looks pretty sweet. The new layout is nice and clean and more organized than the previous versions. I do like what I have seen so far and itching to give it a go when I have time. The new admin panel, post editing, and the new image uploader are a few of the features I think are my favorite in the new version. Especially the dashboard with the new widgetized options and built in stats. Those are not all of the new features though there are but probably some of the biggest changes in the new version.

A big thanks to Wordpress and there team for such a great release. Those guy are working supper hard to perfect an already great piece of software and to make it available free for us to use. I will definitely upgrade in the next week once I get a chance. Have you upgraded yet? If so feel free to share your experience or let me know any bugs you have came across with your plugins, ect..
