I’m an avid Opera user. Not saying I don’t like FireFox it’s just the browser I prefer, different browsers for different folks. So 80% of the time I use Opera and most of the time I only use IE when doing design and development check for my sites. The other percent of the time I am using Firefox and primarily for Stumbleupon and other plugins like the Google toolbar and snapper (creates snapshots). Switching browsers is sometimes annoying to me and I wanted to find a solution to this so I did a search on a Stumbleupon plugin for Opera and came across Opera Stumbler.
The OperaStumbler is a nice add on to any Opera user that uses Stumbleupon. It is not as elaborate as the Firefox plugin and still missing a few features that I use a lot like the “Share Features”, but the OperaStumbler page says they are coming soon. For now it is a quick and easy plugin to use to Stumble pages without having to switch back and forth from Opera to Firefox everytime I run across a page I like.
Getting Started with OperaStumbler:
Step One:
To download the OperaStumbler have your Stumble ID Number, Username and Password handy. If you do not know your ID Number simply fill out the StumbleUpon “Forgot Password” and all your information will be sent to you.

Step Two:
You have the three different options for your toolbar.
The Menu Option - Installs a menu list between your “Tools” and “Help” menus located at the top of your browser.
The Single Button Option - (still under development) Will allow you to select which option buttons you would like to have installed and add them to your toolbar though the Tools>Appearance>Buttons option.
The Speed Dial Option - Adds stumbling to your Speed Dial or as a bookmark link.
The Menu:
The menus has your basic set up allowing you to Stumble! with a few extra features along with your regular StumbleUpon Buttons like your Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down and Leaving Comments and Read Comments. Here is a run down of the menu:

StumbleThru that is a feature to “stumble domain-specific pages.” This feature is limited at the momenet and only includes a few popular sites like Youtube and BBC.

Channel Surf that allows you to stumble though pages that have been specifically tagged with keywords.

My Stuff is a series of buttons to take you to your StumbleUpon Accont information and other locations like your Inbox, Networks, Matches, ext.

StumbleUpon which is a series of the StumbleUpon tools to set your profile photo, invite friends, top stumbler, tags and more.

It doesn’t take much time to install this great little plugin so you can start Stumbling away on Opera. Hopefully this plugin will be upgraded to add all the other little features as the Firefox plugin but for now it is nice to have around expecially if you are a regular Opera user or just moved over to Opera and miss your StumbleUpon options. You can get the Operastumbler here or read more about it and its features.

nice one … heared about it 2 months ago .. but i got a better one .
i don’t really get comfort to sites that ask my pass for other online services and it’s not ever using any security .. like most password forms
also in the bottom of that site they said that their service isn’t supported by either opera or stumble .. so it’s almost unofficial

Awesome! Opera is hands-down the best browser out there. Not saying it couldn’t be better. The one thing I miss from Firefox is the huge number of add-ons available.
