March has come and gone. The month seemed to go by fairly quickly. Maybe because of the somewhat nicer weather and not that much snow. Its a good thing because I was getting a bit of the winter blues, and I’m glad to see spring coming in nicely. It now marks the end of another month with Blogtomic.com and the three month marker. I was not to thrilled with the outcome of March and it did a little lower than the previous months. It was really a step back from February, but hopefully April will be a better month. I was not as active in March with Advertising and other things as I had a few things going on that I wanted to complete and get done on the side. TheSEOtree is finally finished and I am almost finished with another project that is not related that I have been working on for about 6 months. I did start a small marketing campaign that I will talk about in a later post called the $100 plan and will let you know how that went for traffic and all. So far it has not been to bad.

The goals for this month were kinda low to my expectations but April is a new month and I will work on a few other angles and test a few more options out there to see what works and what doesn’t work. I guess it is really all about trying out new things and finding what works and what is a waist of time. So lets have a look at the stats for March.

Monthly Stats:

The stats were okay, not as good as February but not bad. Alexa went down a good bit, but page views per day dropped a small amount and total views for the month were down on unique viewers. Hits though were a bit higher.

Blogtomic.com Earnings for March 2008
The numbers are still not that impressive, and the total went down a lot from Feb. were I made like $70. My goal is to reach at-least $650 a month and seems like a big goal, but this would at least cover rent, anything over that would be for my daughter. I was hoping for at least $100 even this small goal seems hard to reach sometimes. So lets hope for better next month when I will focus more on marketing and maybe try out a few other ad networks as I still dropped a few of them from last month.

The list is a little shorter than last month as I have decided to drop a few AD Networks , I’m still trying to get some of the payperpost places, but half of those seem like a joke.

Next Month:
April is coming up and I hope the stats and income atleast double from there standings now or triple would be nice. Getting started seems to be a log of hard work and you have to put a lot of time in effort into it. Definatly time to try some new things. As some of my put away income is slowly decreasing and time to start doing something diffrent before I’m out of money.
