Crazy Egg is a service that helps you keep track of your visitors actions on your website. This is a great tool for bloggers who are in to monetizing there site. Crazy Egg allows you to keep track of where your visitors click and see what ads are getting the most hits. Crazy Egg has a few features to help you along with testing your site’s visitors actions and to let you see which spots are hot and which spots are not along with a list of all your data that is easily assessable for you to keep track of all the activity on your site.
Signing up and testing out this great service is quick and easy. Crazy Egg Features:
Heatmap is a visual view of where people click on your site. They allow you to check which places or ads are used/clicked the most by visitors so you can see what’s hot and what’s not. A great way to check on adds and make adjustments for the ones that are not doing so hot.

Confetti is a similar tool to the heatmaps but tells you what type of traffic clicks more ads based on the things like: Top 15 Referrers, Search Terms, Operating System, Browser, etc…

Overlay gives you details on click numbers and percent of each element on your page.

List gives you a nice overview of all the hard data which you can easily export and save to your computer so that you can use it with your spreadsheet applications.

There are also other great features that come along with the service including the ability to share your reports with clients and friends, the ability to block your own IP so that your clicks are not counted, Archive your reports for later use, get RSS or Email notification of your report, and live reporting to stay current with what is happening on your site.
Crazy Egg can be used for many different things and a great tool to keep track of your sites activity and ads. And the price is reasonable for small blogs like the free account or the low $9 monthly account. I think it will pay off in the long run to use this service and determine what Ads are working and which ones should be replaced are tweaked.
