Sorry I have been absent the past 2 days. I seemed to have got some kinda spyware/virus that would not go away. I’m guessing some ActiveX plugin I downloaded was containing the spyware and it disabled half my computer and I guess my Antivirus did not pick it up. The spyware seemed to be associated with PC-Antispyware Software antispyware-reviews.biz. What a piece of shit tactic to try to get people to download your programs. This was probably the most annoying spyware I have ever got on my computer.
A good way to get rid of stuff like this is I downloaded Search & Destroy which is a great piece of software for removing spyware. The key though is to Download the software, install it then restart your computer in Safe Mode then run Search & Destroy. This keeps the spyware from duplicating or running while you are cleaning out your system. I was doing it at first with out being in Safe Mode and it still kept coming back, but after switching to the Safe Mode start up I finally got rid of the problem. Or if that does not work I found a manual removal tutorial here along with another program SpyZooka that will get rid of this problem.
I would be careful when downloading plugins and add-ons to watch videos online. Chances are if it says it’s an ActiveX thing, DON’T download it, because it may be full of spyware and viruses. I forgot the names of the ones that installed on my computer but they disabled alot of my browsers, wallpaper, and keep popping up warnings that my computer was infected with all kind of viruses that I should download this PC-Antispyware. So it was really a bunch of bullshit to try to get me to download and pay for their piece of shit software.
